If you need a lawyer

This list is provided by the British Embassy in Tirana for the convenience of enquirers, but neither HMG nor any official of the Embassy take any responsibility for the competence or probity of any firm/advocate on the list or for the consequence of any legal action.

The private practice of law is new to Albania. Lawyers are considered to be those who have a diploma from the Law Faculty at the University of Tirana. This is a four-year programme. Private lawyers are called "avocats" and are licensed by the Ministry of Justice.
