There are no official services delivered on behalf of UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) in this market to help British companies who wish to export or invest in Albania and the Embassy in Tirana is a Political Support Only post. However, whilst no substantive commercial assistance is provided, the Ambassador and the Deputy Head of Mission do offer support to UK business, including local contact making and lobbying on behalf of UK companies on a case-by-case basis. The British Embassy collaborates with the Albania British Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ABCCI) in Albania to help facilitate trade links between the United Kingdom and Albania. More information on ABCCI's work and range of support available from them is available at: www.abcci.com

In partnership with colleagues in the British missions in Skopje and Pristina, and the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe, this Embassy recently supported a regional project entitled "Commercial opportunities for British businesses in Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia", to publish a booklet for British businesses entitled “Commercial Insights”.
